Lesson 70 Learn Esus4 and Eadd2 chords with a practice progression – 9:11 minutes 

In this lesson you will continue to expand your chordal library with embellishments off an E chord. These are really sweet and rich sounding chords and you will want to add them to your chord catalog and mix them into your progressions. Try them in similar exercises as per the previous lessons and with all different strum patterns and rhythmic variations. Rock on!

Lesson 69 Pepper in sus2, sus4 and add chords – SPICE IT UP! – 15:20 min 

In this lesson you will start to pepper in the suspended and add chords that we have been working on. We continue to add richness and interest by adding these embellishments. But now you wont have the luxury of a full measure on each chord. WHat we will work on is getting good right and left hand separation. So the strum hand has to keep strumming in time while the fret hand is peppering in the suspended and add chords quickly. This is a critical concept to get good at and it will take a little while to get the hang of changing chords in the middle of a measure. David takes you through the needed techniques and you will soon be peppering away! ROck on!

Lesson 68 Suspended chord strum along progression 3:56 minutes 

Strum along with the newly learned suspended chords. Remember to keep tapping that foot and hold down a solid rhythm. This progression can be tried with your other strum patterns that you have learned to this point. Embellish away with the suspended chords and remember that you can do it!

Lesson 67 Learn Cadd2, Cadd4, and Cmajor7 chords with a practice progression 6:18 

In this lesson you will add more chords to your growing vocabulary of chords. We will teach you how to play Cadd2, Cadd4, and Cmaj7. These are all very rich and melodious sounding chords and David will teach you how to embellish a C major chord with these new chords. David will then apply what you learned into a practice progression so you can practice these chords in time while strumming and embellishing. Remember, its so important to continually learn new chords, apply them, and then learn to embellish them. Rock on and have fun!

Lesson 63 – Learn how to ARPEGGIATE for a different technique and sound – 15:59 min 

In this lesson module you will learn a new technique called arpeggiation. This means that you will be picking strings or notes individually as opposed to strumming as a chord. This technique will produce a totally new sound for you and open the doors up to new playing sounds and styles. We take it slow at first playing some easy chord changes and arpeggiating the notes. Then David takes you through different arpeggiation patterns and how they can produce a different feel. Rock on!
