This guitar has some very cool features like hot sounding tex mex pickups and an additional piezo pickup under the bridge that gets some cool acoustic like tones. And you can blend the piezo pickups with the other single coil pickups for even more tonal options. Very cool guitar!

Guitar Review – Epiphone LES PAUL GOLDTOP – Gibson clone – 8:21 min

In this module David demos the sounds and discusses the features of an Epiphone LEs Paul Goldtop guitar. This guitar was modeled after a 1956 Gibson Les paul Goldtop. This is a very cool guitar that gets some great tones. Mahogany body and top that is big and wide so you get that big ballsy les paul tone. This guitar has P90 single coil pickups – a different sound from the humbuckers you see in most Les Pauls. This guitar is a great value for the money. Check it out. 

Guitar Review – Kawai hollowbody jazzbox electric guitar – 5:47 min

In this video Jason Lee demos the sounds and discusses the features of a Kawai fully hollowbody jazzbox electric guitar played through a Fender Bassman Amplifier. This older Japanese guitar is a knock off like a Gibson ES175. The guitar is great for many genres of music like rockabilly, blues, jazz, surf, and more. These guitars were made in the late 60s and 70’s. Check out some under the radar guitars like this one in your local pawn shops and usewd music dealers as some under the radar guitars will really surprise you with great tone and good playability. In this review we demo the sounds and discuss the features of a Taylor model GS5 acoustic/electric guitar. THis is a killer guitar – Taylor makes some great stuff for sure. This model GS5 has a cedar top and tropical american mahogany back and sides. It has the built in Taylor expression system electronics with preamp and eq run by a nine volt battery. Here we demo the sounds and the features of a new 2010 model Martin ONE SERIES guitars. Check out all the sounds and features of these all solid wood guitars. This is the least expensive all solid wood Martin guitars. This also has a fishman pickup and digital tuner built in for some models in this line. All include cases and they are very nice guitars and a great new model in the ever growing Martin line.
