Kustom has been making amps a long time and many of their vintage amps and amp designs have made a big comeback in todays amp market. Check out this vintage one – can still find these fine amps used on ebay and in pawn shops. Rock on!

Amp Review – vintage mid 1960’s GIBSON FALCON all tube 8:35 minutes

In this module David takes you through a vintage mid 1960’s Gibson Falcon all tube amplifier. Many players are not aware that the Gibson company also made amplifiers. In fact you can still get some of the vintage Gibson tube amps at a reasonable price point. Very good clean sounding amps. Check out the module as David takes you through the complete amp and also adds a distortion pedal to demostrate distorted sounds through the amp.

In this module Jason Lee takes you through a vintage 1962 Fender Bassman amp head and 2×12 cabinet piggy back style. The Bassman amp was originally designed for bass players, but soon after its introduction many guitar players found out it sounds great as a guitar amp – so now the bassman is more of a guitar players amp. LINE 6 SPIDER I amp review – budget friendly solid state amp – 9:47 min

In this module David reviews a Line 6 Spider I 50 watt 1×12 solid state amp. This was the first in the spider series and it has the red covering. The next few generations of the spider amp series switched to black coverings. Line 6 is a company that makes very cool amps and gear for the budget friendly consumer. This amp has some great features like built in headphone jack, killer distortion, built in effects like chorus, reverb, and delay, and more – so it really packs a wallop for the price. David demos the amp using a mid 1990s Fender Custom Shop Moto head Stratocaster. ROck on!

In this module we review a vintage 1959 or 1960 Ampeg Reverberocket tube amplifier. This amp has some killer clean tones as well as a beautiful tremelo effect. Ampeg makes some real nice amps and this vintage one cranks out the tones. David plays through this amp with a 100 year anniversary Gibson Nighthawk. Check out the sweet ampeg sounds.
