In this lesson Tyler teaches a flamenco strumming technique called RASGUEADO. This is also used in classical music and is a certain fast way to use your fingers to strum the guitar strings in a crisp, even, and fast manner. This will take a little while to get down but start off slow and you will be mastering the technique. He goes over a few different options you have when you want to strum multiple strings together using fingerstyle technique. He then gives you some exercises to practice these strumming techniques. Again, start slow and really check to ensure you are getting the clarity of each note ringing. You can do it!

Beginner Fingerstyle Technique Lesson 7 – 5:22 min

In this lesson Tyler teaches more finger patterns that combine use of chords and scales. These patterns are great exercises that will really tie together all the concepts that you have learned so far. Basic open chords will be used and then scales will be added. Start slow at first and the speed will come. You really want to concentrate on getting each note to be clean and articulated well. Add the metronome when you get comfortable with the pattern and exercise and you will get it in no time. Keep up all the hard work!
