The 7th chords as a family have that real bluesy and twangy sound – remember, as always, listen to the color of these chords and develop YOUR EAR. David will also teach you the differences between a 7th chord and a major 7th chord – big difference, but they often get confused. More ear training in this module as David tries to get your ear dialed into the color of the dominant 7th chords. You will learn an A7, B7, C7, D7, E7, and G7 chords. The 7th chord has the intervals root, 3rd, 5th, and b7th. The flat seventh is the dominant note and is what gives these chords their twangy and bluesy color.
