Learn a I-IV-V 7th chord SHUFFLE Progression with chord COMPING and embellishing – 14:02 min
In this module you will learn a I-IV-V 7th chord shuffle progression. If you don’t know the 12 bar pattern then please view the lesson on the 12 bar pattern first then come back to this lesson. David also shows you how to embellish the chords by sliding into the chords with a half step slides. Sliding the chords around really jazzes things up a bit as does the rhythmic “chucking”. David also throws in the chromatic passing chords and plays a few different turn-arounds to make things more interesting. He also teaches how to comp or subsitute some cool chords into the progression with 9ths, 13ths, and 7#9 chords. David also teaches you to vary the rhythm with various strums patterns, downstrokes, and use of accents when playing rhythmically.
